Head's Welcome

We are a happy, unique primary school, welcoming children from ages 3 to 10 from our Nursery setting right up to Year 6 when our oldest pupils successfully make the big leap to High School as confident learners. We provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment which allows our pupils to thrive and develop a set of values that marks them out as 'Cherry Grove pupils' wherever they go. 

Our pupils are confident, life-long learners, curious about the world around them and an understanding of what it means to have great 'citizenship'. This is enhanced through our Rights-Respecting vision and our passion for the Arts.

Fundamental to our vision is providing experiences and visits for our children that make their school-days memorable, fun and open doors to new aspirations. 

Pupils at Cherry Grove have a voice, as this is a huge part of how we continue to strive to be the best. We always aim to be healthy and happy, and being outdoors and looking after our minds is of utmost importance to us.

We are located on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Chester, and ensure opportunities to link with our local history and community are always optimised.
